Newly renovated property on a walking street in perhaps the best neighborhood in Athens for living, Mets. It’s is a short walk to Plaka, Syntagma, the Botanical Garden, the tram, buses, and numerous metro lines. The apartment itself has a flexible structure. It has two large main bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom. There is also a third room that could be used for a small bedroom/nursery. There is also an additional room that could be made into a water closet, that is currently being used for a washing machine and cleaning supplies, but there is also a washing machine hook up in one of the bathrooms. The kitchen, living room, and dining area has a modern, open concept that is hard to find in Athens. The kitchen includes hidden appliances (fridge, dishwasher) and a beautiful marble counter. There is also a liquid alcohol fireplace in the living room. There are a couple of outdoor spaces. There is a large balcony in the back of the apartment with access from both main bedrooms via the south facing sliding doors. There is a place for a small garden on this balcony as well. In addition, there is shared access to the open rooftop, via stairs, with incredible views of the Acropolis, Aridittou Hill, the Botanical Garden, Yimmitos, and even down to the sea. The apartment building is actually at the highest point of Mets and there are now building restrictions now in Koukaki, so this view should never be impeded. Separate from the apartment, there is a two car garage area about 3 blocks away from the apartment. This works very well because it’s on a Main Street and easy to get to, whereas the apartment is on a walking only street and harder to drive to, although vehicles can access it for dropping things off, emergency vehicles, etc. There is a basement storage room in the apartment and plenty of storage in the parking area. The last energy certification was done prior to renovations being completed in 2022, so this info is not accurate. I love this apartment and neighborhood, it is dead quiet at night, yet still close to everything. However, I’m moving out of Greece because of my job this summer. Price is negotiable, depending on the terms and whether or not realtors are involved and where the money is transferred from. Also open to including furniture in the apartment if interested.
