Eretria is a coastal town of Evia, southeast of Chalkida, opposite the northern coast of Attica, in the Southern Gulf of Evia. An important monument of Antiquity that is preserved and worth visiting the visitor, is the "House with the Mosaics", where one can admire the mosaics. Eretria today is an important ferry port with the port of Oropos (Attica), and is connected by road with Chalkida and south with Aliveri.
