Alikes Sea front apartments is a small complex, builded in 2007. It is situated amphitheatrically on a hill slope in front of the bay of Alikes, well known for its natural beauty, crystal clear, calm, bright blue sea and soft white sand. Understated design, warm hospitality and a very personalized approach are only a few of the ingredients which make Alikes one of the most popular resorts on the island of Ammouliani. Cool, white interiors offer a stylish, tranquil and unpretentious environment that relaxes the eye and rests the body. The apartments are built on two levels. Each 32m2 apartment is divided into two areas by the bathroom which is situated in the middle, creating a two room apartment without doors. On one side lies the bedroom with a double bed and on the other a living room with a sofa–bed suitable for two children or one adult. All apartments offer air-conditioning, TV and a fully equipped kitchen with a small fridge and electric stove top. The upstairs apartments have a small oven as well. A barbeque is also available in the outdoor area. The apartments on the upper level have a front and rear side both with very spacious verandas. The rear side is on the ground floor with a beautiful garden view. The front side, first floor level, has a stunning view of the lake, Ouranoupolis and the big blue. The lower level apartments are on the ground floor. They have a front side and each one has its own spacious garden. Τhere are also two 15m2 double room that can accommodate two people only. They have a double bed, bathroom, small fridge, wardrobe, TV. air-conditioning and a small garden.They do not have a kitchen or any cooking facilities. A superb view of the magnificent surrounding scenery from every part of the resort is what makes Alikes proud of its location. The distance from the beach is around 50m from the apartments and 5m from our main entrance. It is a very safe beach, not too deep or too shallow. It has three beach bars that rent sun beds and also rental boats are available to explore the sea or visit the islands “Drenia” and Ouranoupolis. There is also a restaurant, a snack bar and a mini market in the area, walking distance from the apartments. The rest of the local commerce is in the island centre only 1km away and includes sea-side cafes and taverns with fresh local seafood and meat, creperies, souvlaki shops, supermarkets, butcher shops, bakeries, pharmacy, medical centre and bike & motorbike rental shop. Ammouliani is very close to the Byzantine monastic peninsula of Mt. Athos. Boat tours of Mt. Athos are available daily.
