It is located in the prefecture of Ioannina, on the slopes of Tymfi, at an altitude of 960 meters. It is certainly the tourist capital of Zagori, as in Megalo Papigo, with 280 permanent residents, there are 55 tourism-related businesses (guesthouses, taverns, cafes, outdoor activities, etc.).
