Villas All our Villas are two-storey (maisonettes) with unlimited view to the mountains, valley and the sea. They are exclusively built in stone and wood to match their surroundings. Each apartment is built at a different level due to the ground's steep slope with some common areas (pool, barbecue, gym, café), as well as private courtyards, verandas, or Villas Facilities: Fully equipped built-in kitchen with oven, ceramic cookstoves, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwaves, coffee pot, toaster, small electric sweeper, pressure cooker and a whole line of well-known kitchen items and top quality dinner service. Dining room with a table and chairs for up to 6 pax. Sitting room with fireplace, TV, DVD-player, stereo, one double and one triple couch with orthopaedic mattresses which very easily converts to two single or one double bed for extra persons. Bedroom with double bed with orthopedic mattress, toilet-mirror, wardrobe, screen, full-length mirror, iron, ironing board. Bathroom with shower, washing machine, washer dryer and hair dryer. All dwellings have at least one independent courtyard or veranda and balcony with traditional outdoor furniture. Some our villas have their own private roof terrace too. Apart from the fireplace, all dwellings have air-conditioning on both floors and hot water from solar and electric water heater. All furniture is handmade carved from beech wood. The linen draperies are embroidered and of top quality while the quilts are feather. You have a pillow menu and choice of your mattress (hard or soft) Orange villa – Diktamos One double bedroom maisonette of 65 m2 with the possibility to easily accommodate up to 4 persons. The bedroom is located on the ground floor and its two walls is natural rock under the soil. It incorporates one independent courtyard and has access to the roof with a magnificent panoramic view to the entire area and the pool. This dwelling was built in 1913 and the ground floor in the past was used as a barn-stable, while the first floor as a weave room and elementary school. Blue villa – Mantzourana One double bedroom maisonette of 55 m2 which may accommodate up to 3 persons. Its areas are made up of four deferent levels. It comprises a balcony and one covered veranda. It is dated since the end of 1800, while in the past served as a store room for grains, oil, and wine. One of its areas was part of the wine press which does not exist now. *Mantzourana - Marjoram Plant reaching 30-60 cm with small oval leaves and white-pink flowers. We use the entire plant without the root. It helps in the battle against nervousness, anxiety, insomnia and headache. It is used against flatulence and respiratory problems. It has stimulant and anticonvulsant properties. Green villa – Faskomilia One double bedroom maisonette of 75 m2, easily accommodating up to 4 persons. The characteristics of this dwelling are the traditional wooden stove, the large chimney and the well, all found inside the house. It incorporates an indoor veranda, a large independent courtyard and has access to the roof with a magnificent panoramic view. It was initially built in the mid 1800's and was used as a kitchen-dinning room while inside the well they kept cheese products and wine due to the temperature difference. *Faskomilia Sage A plant thriving in sun conditions reaching the height of 30-60 cm. We mainly use its leaves. It is ideal for neck irritations, mouth ulcers and gum problems. It is also used as hormone stimulant; it diminishes perspiration and effectively helps asthma Purple villa – Malotira One double bedroom, newly built maisonette of 85 m2 easily accommodating up to 4 persons. It is built with traditional materials and in a traditional manner and totally blends in with the natural environment. Incorporates one indoor veranda with amazing view to the valley of Apokoronas and Cretan sea, one independent courtyard and has private access to the roof with a magnificent panoramic view to the entire area. *Malotira Sideritis Herbaceous brushy plant with thin, round and piliferous leaves, reaching the height of 30 cm. We use the entire plant without the root. It helps digestion, colds, while along with honey it sooths cough. It is tonic and diuretic. Red villa – Fliskouni One double bedroom new maisonette of 90 m2, in total harmony with the area and the oldest buildings. Has one double bedroom and may accommodate up to 4 persons. The only one with canted tile roof in the bedroom, located higher than all the other dwellings. It incorporates two indoor verandas with amazing pool, mountain, valley, sea and pool view. *Fliskouni Mint The smallest of the species' plants reaching 20 cm in height. We use the entire plant except for the root, when flowering. It has antibronchial, antiasthmatic, antiarthritis, anti-diarrheal and anaesthetic attributes. It also helps with rheumatism and is often used, due to its intense smell, as a repellent for various insects, fleas and parasites.
