It has also a suitable position as a starting point for visiting most of the attractions of the Peloponnese and Central Greece. Indicatively, it is only an hour and a half from Athens and 40 minutes from the Rio Antirio bridge. Places such as Lake Tsivlou, Kalavrita, Mycenae, Nemea, Nafpaktos, Patras, Loutraki, Aigio and Lake Stymfalia are within an hour's drive. While many other places such as Nafplio, the Cave of the Lakes, Lake Doxa, ancient Olympia, Galaxidi, the Forest of Strofilia and Kyllini can be reached with a little more time.
