The house has also an extra room which is cunstructed as a squared yurt but it is insulated under and above it. The house is located in the middle of nowhere, in a fenced olive groove of 10.000 square meters, outside of Amarynthos. The 20 out of the 60 olive trees can be harvested and give delicious organic olive oil. There is also a space to plant veggies of 25 square meters which has 1 lemon tree, 1 walnut tree and 2 avocado trees along with some Mexican pepper plants and basil. The house is surrounded by 1 cypress, 2 plane trees, 1 eucalyptus, 2 plum trees, 4 peach trees, 1 loquat, 1 fig tree, 1 carob tree, 1 apple tree, 1 Juda's tree, several cactuses and many medicinal plants such as aloe, rosemary, oregano, sage, lavender, passion fruit, ibiscus… (everything planted by me and my partner and friends). There is also one pomegranate tree and several flowers. The field has also plenty of wild medicinal herbs such as cistus, Dittrichia viscosa and Pyrus spinosa (wild pear). It’s ideal for people who want to write a book, for people who work remotely and love nature or for birdwatchers (while I am writing this, many cute robins are surrounding the house while singing). Internet reception is great here, with a portable wifi router. The last 3km of the road are dirt but all normal vehicles can go to the house. There is also one road of 1 km but this needs an off-road car at least, or of course with a four wheel one it's easier. I lived here for 3 years but now that my dog suddenly died, it’s time for me to keep living a nomadic life. I came here during the pandemic, mostly to give to my elderly dog some stability because together with my other dog and cat we have lived in 26 houses in many different countries and although I enjoyed this life, it was tiring with 2 big sized dogs and a cat, plus the situation due to covid measures made it as the only option at the time, to settle somewhere. I am looking for a responsible smoke free person to rent it. Someone who understands that living with solar panels means that electricity needs to be consumed consciously. The house has a fridge and a washing machine, and I even hoover the carpets but not when it’s cloudy for example and the A/C can only operate during the summer and for no more than 4 hours, only during heatwaves (otherwise it has a fan on the ceiling)… Cooking and hot shower take place with gas.
