The distance from Thessaloniki is 45 km from Macedonia Airport 35 km, the capital of Halkidiki Polygyros 23 km and Moudania also 23 km. The village is amphitheatrically built with a western orientation. From the top of the mountain, just 1.5 km from the center of the village, there is the small church of Prophet Ilias. From this point one can enjoy the view from Lake Volvi to the Sporades and from Mount Olympus to Kavala.
