ECO HOUSES was established as a business based in Athens, Greece, in the beginning of 2011 aiming to provide services in the field of development and financing of pilot “green” eco passive residential settlements within the Hellenic territory using revolutionary construction technology for buildings called ELEVIT with almost zero energy consumption. We collaborate closely with a group of architects who are considered pioneers of bioclimatic design, having been repeatedly awarded in Greece and worldwide including the Bgreen Eco Consciousness Award. Moreover, thanks to extensive involvement with land and real estate in the wider area of Greece, our agency is simultaneously engaged with the promotion of summer houses located in seaside regions of Northern Greece for seasonal rentals and/or their sale to foreign customers and particularly to those from Eastern and Western Europe in partnership with local representatives. Furthermore, our agency undertakes ad-hoc various projects related to real estate within the Hellenic territory on behalf of specific clients (individuals and/or companies). Indicatively, it is worth mentioning that our agency associates have excellent qualifications, possess all broad experience and expertise in the areas of real estate, construction, service and consulting, tourism, marketing, legal advice, funding, organization of large-scale projects, etc. providing integrated services on all issues to our clients. Apart from the Greek language, several of our associates speak English and/or Russian thanks to higher education obtained from the universities of Great Britain and/or Russia. Thus, Ms. Irene Kotronopoulou, business founder of ECO HOUSES, graduated from the American College of Southeastern Europe majoring in Marketing and Public Relations and completed further her postgraduate studies in the field of Public Relations at Stirling University, Scotland. She has over than 12 years of experience in the area of marketing having worked as Marketing Manager and/or Brand Manager at major multinational companies in Greece in the field of consumer goods and retailing while speaking fluently English and Russian languages in addition to Greek. During the last six (6) years she is actively engaged in the real estate sector as well as passive construction in Greece and abroad.
